I have listened to Red forward and this is my least favorite one. I think Midnights is the best album. The sound is pretty decent on this specific pressing.

taylor's best album!!!!!
also a great sounding pressing, the green matches really well with evermore's aesthetic. mine plays quiet throughout with no skips, cracks, or pops. love it! -
help! my ID’s all match this pressing but it’s definitely the transparent pressing. i’m so very confused cause this one looks like the opaque green 🥲

Edited 2 years agoDoes this version have more runout etching than it shows here? I'm having a hard time trying to identity my copy, the runout etching is not matching with any of the versions listed.

With Midnights coming out I thought I’d finally buy this and complete my collection, but sadly I’ve found this pressing to be quite harsh and sibilant in places. I’ve been listening with my headphones so this could be why it’s so noticeable to my ears. I’ll maybe give it a go through my speakers and see if that improves the experience at all

Does anyone know the best way to guarantee picking up this particular opaque version? Is there a certain store that sells this version specifically (Barnes & Noble, indie record stores, etc.?)? Is it all sold out and discontinued? It's so hard to know!

I was weary about buying this album on vinyl for a long time due to reading others had trouble with pops and surface noise. Glad I finally did. Dead quiet pressing, I haven't any issues with playback at all. Jackets are also a high quality glossy print & opaque vinyl colour is beautiful in all light settings.

I love this album sooo much. This pressing is not perfect, but definitely better than "Folklore" one. Noisy now and then, but overall I would recommend it.
-
pretty good pressing but most people who own this record play it on a crosley. don’t listen to the bad reviews
