200 copies of this white vinyl release were sold via the Scottish store Assai Records (2). This variant included a hand-numbered obi strip; the first 100 of which also came with a signed art print of the album cover.
Recorded at Muttley Ranch, London.

Edited one year agoThis is the standard black edition with an extra paper strip added to the outside by the distributor. Sadly it is not a separate edition (like it was misleadingly adversitied as) - it should be merged with the standard release and a comment in the notes section could be added explaining that 200 copies purchased via Ashai records came with a numbered OBI strip.

Edited 2 years agoGreat album and pressing. Typical great SW audio. As far as I can tell, Assai obi edition is not an official release, but some marketing scheme from a record shop called Assai. I think this release probably should be updated with the obi stuff removed. Don’t know if others agree. -
Overall sounds is pretty good, but not quite up the quality I'd expect from SW. I have all his other solo and PT albums on vinyl and they all sound a bit better. -
Note to buyers: many of these white vinyl being sold are NOT numbered as it clearly states in the main description at the top of this page. In my mind, this page needs correcting - it shouldn't say numbered if the majority are NOT numbered. {Separate page for the un-numbered whites?]
As stated in the notes, only 200 were numbered copies. -

Only Assai sold them with a hand-numbered OBI strip. Got mine from 101 Records Collectors shop with signed artprint but no Obi

I don't think there are cards on at least this version. But I did receive a Autographed 12 x 12 mini poster :) -
Is there a reason why the limited/numbered Assai Records version hasn't been entered as a version yet?

Edited 4 years agoIt needs to be said that this release is an audiophile highlight. Right up there with the best. A stunning production, a brilliant mix, vinyl mastering with a ton of dynamics, and a super silent beautifully clean pressing. Absolutely brilliant!
