Edited 4 years agoAbsolute masterpiece. Five stars. Hard to believe it’s 40 years old. Listening to it now to ring in the new year while my neighbors shoot off fireworks.

I agree very much with the musical descrption of cheap_suit. Concerning the A-side. For me the B-side is the better side and the climax of this record. 21 minutes of finest percussion, light but melancholic synthesizers, pushed by Hassells trumpet. magical.

landmark in ambient-world musics! Use of world music, taped themselves or sampled? (next to the own instruments of course..).
At least one track was played during pre-New Beat-period in Belgium, possibly also used in Cosmic-Disco mixes or Balearic..(?)
