    I’ve had this 2XLP compilation since it came out. It’s one of those things you buy and never listen to… lol. Idk, the whole No Wave thing is way overhyped in my opinion. “No New York” compilation is well rounded for anyone curious about the genre. Lydia Lunch and the first Contortions LP are at least listenable. DNA gets pretty grating after 10 mins max. Robin Crutchfield’s Dark Day (from DNA) is better—which is not No Wave.

          Sounds really good. Dead quiet pressing. Soundstage isn’t bad. Surely barebones recordings in the first place.
