This repress in not 'terrible' lifeless, or excessively muddy , etc. It is a decent sound that you can tweak a bit for extra added impact, or tonality , like any record!
It is not 'perfect', & a marginally better job could have been done with it , but compared with an extra £200 + for a VG=/Mint copy of the original is a BARGIN !
There are 1,000 s of poor quality reggae issues (even as mint) far worse than this, that are never mentioned as such.
For some reason this release has been highlighted by a moaning club of commentators with an agenda & more than a little hysteria.

Repress is terrible. Save your money.
Original press is what to buy even if it is harder to come by and dearer.
Such a good album and the dub too.
