Apparently they used an original cassette pressing as the source for this release (and the CD, and web, and cassette repress) and you can definitely tell. A few dropouts in places, plus noticeable tape hiss when you compare it to tracks on The Gold Experience. Now we know why the cassette sounds terrible, it's basically a direct copy! Not unbearable, but noticeable. Wish they could've tracked down a better master, but it's fine. -
