I am listening too mine now. Kind of midrange sound but I don’t know if I would say it was MP3 master quality. As far as I can , pre-recorded cassettes were not the best fidelity. I have only ever bought a handful over four decades. The tape shell does not specify normal bias or CrO2 or not, so I assume it is normal bias, which takes the fidelity down further. Not the worst sound, but yeah, it sounds like a cassette. I’ve heard better. -
