Great album, not so great pressing. Gain is very low, had to turn it up much louder than most vinyl and the vinyl itself is not very quiet. I streamed it right after listening to the vinyl and would recommend streaming by a mile if you have a good digital front end. Much better dynamics than the vinyl.

There are some really differing opinions on the SQ of this. My copy sounds fantastic—considerably better than the CD I have. Played on a TechDAS Air Force 3 with a Kuzma 4 Point arm and Shelter Accord cartridge. Definitely no shortage of bass here.

Don't know how the original pressing is, but this reissue sounds very bad to my ears. Volume on the pressing is low and has zero dynamics. Not worth having on vinyl. Release def deserves a remaster.

I had this on CD in the 90s and can't thinking the sound was bad. This remaster LP gives me a headache. The sound is very thin.

Such a good pressing that you can hear the clicks & pops of "Hell Around The Corner" perfectly! :)

The best Tricky album of all time and a true classic / must have in this genre.

Totally quiet, perfect pressing, but a bit thin-sounding. I would say that on the first side, at least, the 1995 sounds warmer, more bassy, and Martina's voice is more centered. The soundstage is narrower for sure on the 2018, though the 2018 is not a disaster, by any means.

Perfect pressing, dead quiet as tobester already mentioned. Same volume level as OG. Also cover and innersleeve very well reproduced. Great reissue.

How does this pressing compare to the 2012 MOV reissue? Can anyone compare?

Dead, dead quiet. Fantastic repress. It’s all there, highly recommended.
