Sounds good but deffo has a Japanese mastering flavour which is to say its very very clean and bright (not harsh) but maybe its abit sterile. The WRJ reissue matches this for pressing but does have a fuller presentation which does make it more inviting somehow. Either are excellent albeit this one is nicer packaged and has that thicker card sleeve like 70's Japanese pressings!

Legit one of the best sounding records I own. On par with any tone poet I’ve heard. If you have the opportunity to grab this do not hesitate.

Happy this made it in perfect shape from Tokyo to the US. One of the best sounding records I own, it's dead silent and every instrument is clear as day - wonderfully recorded. I have some slight gripes about the way the piano sounds at times, but that isn't the fault of the record.

Being repressed yet again - release slated for late September 2023. Get this... just get this. Pre-orders available on imusic

I'm glad I have this version released in 2022 and not this colored vinyl crap released by We Release Jazz.
This japanese one also has great thick cover reproduction that I love. Don't really care for the pink not original obi, but it's nice looking though for this series. -

Sublime pressing and sound quality generally. I can’t compare to WRJ bc I’ve not heard it. But I can guarantee you’d be very happy w this if you find a copy at a good price.

This is truly a well pressed/mastered record. Dead quiet and very dynamic with a lot of details... now ofc there are always variations depending on the set-up you have at home but in my opinion this record is worth every penny. Also i think this pressings are going to be way more valuable on the long run than the WRwtfww pressings as the availability is much lower.
