Jazz doesn't get better than this, raw and sophisticated at the same time.

This sounds phenomenal! I’m a hip-hop guy first and foremost, dabble in jazz since most of my favorites sampled so much jazz in the ‘90s, so I’m no jazz expert, but this pressing is excellent—quiet, clear, dynamic…beautiful record.

Spent last night re-listening to this album about 3 times... it sounds superb and you can tell that there is weight on the record itself. Fantastic product overall - really lucky to have such a copy of a fantastic album, one that tells the tale of an artist trying to heal their homesickness.

Bought for 23 CAD on Amazon. Easy buy. How does it SOUND!!???? Well it sounds like a warm dinner after a hard day's work. Like a closed valve on a leaky sink. Like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. Like a cool breeze on a warm summer day.

Came here to say that this is easily the best sounding jazz record I own and it’s up there with the best of them in my collection. It rivals my first press of daft punk discovery or my 2nd UK press of ok computer. The sound is truly magnificent. It actually puts a bunch of the tone poet blue note releases to shame in of the clarity and space each instrument has. And those tone poet releases sound incredible in their own right. I was really truly blown away by the sound of this record. I will be buying more we release jazz records without a doubt. All blessings and respect to the folks over there putting this much care and respect and honor into pressing a record.

Buy this album if you can find it.

What a masterpiece. The dynamic range and soundscape on the pressing sounds ahead of its time for when the album was recorded. Deserves to be played on an audio system to match.
