In reference to variant 4. Two of her best songs and a whole lotta money make for slick, cutting edge production. The biggest hits are the best songs by far. This edition sounds excellent.

The obi was especially aimed at the French market, where True Blue missed the number one spot upon release (unlike other French speaking countries like Switzerland and Belgium). Since WEA could not a number one in , they emphasized it was number one everywhere else.
Notably, the album didn't miss the top spot for lack of sales but because the album chart rules then allowed for multi-artist compilations. "True Blue" entered the monthly French album charts at number 2 in August 1986, behind a compilation of "slow dance" hits.
6 months later, the rules changed and the compilations were isolated. Thanks to these new rules and the new interest brought by the number one single La Isla Bonita and the Who's That Girl World Tour, the album finally reached the number one spot in the summer of 1987.

I loved all of Madonna's 80's era albums. That being said, this one is probably the best produced of the bunch, best singles too. This copy sounds incredible. Very well put together.

The translation here is hilarious. Why did Argentina had that awful habit of translating album titles anyway?

Jesus this press is high volume. I say this with no exaggeration, this is the loudest record I’ve ever owned, nearly gave me a heart attack when I threw this on the turntable. Def reccomend turning down the volume even for the biggest noise junkies out there. On the bright side, any scratches/scuffs/general surface noise on well loved copies will be obliterated by the sheer volume of this. Anyways, as for the sound itself, when the volume is down and the ringing in my ears has died down this is a breathtaking press, has that lovely 80’s punch that they can’t seem to replicate with modern pressings. Very wide soundstage and big sound, surprising amount of clarity and minimal inner groove distortion considering the volume. I can’t see any reissue topping this, excellent sound. Really does this pop perfection justice

Well, no cracks and pops not even warped but sound quality isn't that good. I have various pressings of this record and they all sound better.

Good pressing in my opinion no pops nor cracks, flat record, bought my copy from USA madonna store, very pleased, playing on a stanton T62M2 turntable

Did this specific release come with the paper vinyl sleeve with the lyrics on it? I bought a second-hand one and it has the hype sticker and colour poster, but not the sleeve.
