Debut studio album released on July 13th 1973 in the UK.
The entire back catalogue was re-issued for the first time on CD in 1986, and again on CD/tape in remastered form in 1991 for the US market (via Hollywood Records and adding a few non-album tracks or remixes not included on the original versions). Parlophone also re-issued the remastered versions in 1993/1994, and subsequently several additional re-remastered versions (some in 5.1 DTS) have appeared.
In 2009 the entire back catalogue of studio albums (newly remastered) was re-released again, this time on heavyweight vinyl, while "40th Anniversary" CD versions appeared in 2011 in standard and "Deluxe Edition" (the latter including a 2nd disc with sparse bonus tracks) via Island Records.
Note: Several albums (largely compilations) simply titled "Queen" also exist. These have nothing to do with this album and should not be placed here.

Ich habe mir diese Version zusätzlich zum 2024er Mix gekauft, nach dem Vergleich geht die 2024er Version zurück, diese klingt analoger näher am Original und bietet 0.9 db mehr Dynamik.
Der 2024er Mix bietet dafür mehr Details, Räumlichkeit, Hall und klingt digitaler.
Letztendlich Geschmacksache. Für mich ist der Bob Ludwig Mix die bessere Wahl. -

I heard this version was remixed with freaking autotune for the vocal tracks, can anyone give any regarding this? is it true? I was about to buy it until I heard about this abomination, I really doubt the sound is superior if this was tarnished with autotune, if true then what a disgrace. -
Here we have 2024 MIX. Fortunately, this material was not compressed too much. The drums sound clearer, the dirt has been removed. But an assassination attempt was made on Fredi's voice. It's not his natural voice. Oh horror, it doesn't have the same pitch. Listen to the 1986 version of CDP 7 46204 2. Someone who hasn't heard it will say the new one is cool. No, not for me. -
