Creedence Clearwater Revival – Pendulum

Som bom. Por algum motivo o texto na label dele está apagado, nunca vi isso acontecer.
Comparando com a outra versão de 71, sem o adesivo de Estéreo, essa soa melhor, mais nítida e detalhada.

Nice sound. For some reason the text on the label has been erased, never seen that happen.
Comparing it to the other Brazilian 71' pressing, without the "Estéreo" sticker, this one sounds better, sharper and more detailed.

The album cover picture is not the correct one - it should have a Fantasy logo in the bottom left.

This one sounds very nice. Much of it very mono sounding actually. Does it sound as good as Cosmos Factory? Not really. Still has that classic Creedence sound though. Obviously, there's some great songs on here. There's at least 3 stone cold classics. I bet you can name them. Hideaway is one that gets to you as well. Great stuff.

According to the deadwax, this European release use the same J.POWELL cut than the US release. And it's pressed at GZ (MRP for the US version). This brown piece of vinyl is perfectly flat, quiet, without pops and sits in a polylined sleeve. The mastering is dynamic, powerfull... And take place in audiophile category. Only big complaint : what have you done with this cover, Craft ? It's awefull. Pixelized picture, saturated colors, brown are near orange…WTF ?

Outstanding cut at its price point just finished both sides very happy with sound !!!!!!!!! just ordered bayou country as well because my original has alot of surface noise. This reissue is very clean and well balanced. No brainer at $25 also vinyl is very quiet with hardly any clicks or pops right out the jacket and it comes in poly lined inner. GREAT JOB CRAFT RECORDINGS

Very good sounding pressing. Nice highs and lows.

It is a bit annoying that the labels on the record doesn't say which side is A and B, exacerbated by the fact that the track listing on the back of the jacket doesn't match with the track order on the labels. Minor, and to be fair a completely irrelevant, quibble though.

This blows my 1970 original pressing out of the water. I can't imagine this album sounding any better. The band and John's voice just sound amazing. Nice jacket as well.

Gives the Analogue Productions issue a real run for its money but does lose out on sound quality. Has a slightly more lively upper mid which can sound a little dry vs the liquidity of the AP but even more notable is this has less bottom end extension and richness. It almost seems a bit rolled off of lowest bass in comparison. It is cut slightly louder by a couple of db i woild guess. Dimensionality wise both are excellent and i wouldnt say one betters the other. In isolation then, its a very very good sounding reissue but the AP is an exquisite one and takes the cake. Sadly, in order to own the AP over this pressing requires many times the outlay and so at least for value this has to be the winner.

Otherwise then, while the jacket build quality is equal between both (tip on thick card gatefold) the Abbey1/2 speed i would say does have a better colour and look to the artwork reproduction so thats one straw in the cap.

The vinyl compound is good (for Optimal) and not worthy of complaint but its not quite as quiet as the AP where the music seems to come from a quieter background despite being cut a little quieter.
Overall at retail its a very fine reissue and im happy with all 3 of my Creedence 1/2 Speeds thus far. For the rrp they are superb!!

Prensagem boa, som bom porém um pouco abafado. Estéreo.

Nice pressing, sounds good but a little muffled. Stereo.
