Edited 3 days agoThis one sounds very nice. Much of it very mono sounding actually. Does it sound as good as Cosmos Factory? Not really. Still has that classic Creedence sound though. Obviously, there's some great songs on here. There's at least 3 stone cold classics. I bet you can name them. Hideaway is one that gets to you as well. Great stuff.

I have a cassette version of this on Fanasy records inc. lable but with the code of "FASK 5007", track listing is same as french issue. No Barcode, re issue. any suggestions as not found on discogs listings for cassette

This is truly a great sounding pressing, it’s like the band is in the room. Dynamic, clear and very punchy sound.

I still wonder why on all the albumcovers all over the world the songs on the back were in the wrong order... Later on they were corrected....

I hear a lot of Booker T and the MG's along with nods to other Stax/Atlantic artists in this great album. Can't believe John Fogerty played all the horn instruments himself - wow.
