Not a very detailed soundstage. A lot mixed to the middle, vocals and drums, ends up a bit muddled on some tracks. Bass becomes boomy on some tracks.

Just picked this up, cleaned, and spun... It is Flat, very little surface noise, Then Kitty comes at the end tick tick tick (3 copies same issue) you can see that there is a scratch (must be pressed into the end of the track), however weighted down the stylus and was able to lessen the ticks, the sound of the remaster is good which makes it even more disappointing to have this defect right at the freakin' end of the LP...other than that it sounds great...

(Fluance RT-82 w/Acrylic Platter, ATN-XP cart/5 stylus. Nobsound T3 Phono Amp, Aiyima A07 Pro, Kicker KB6B, & 2x Polk PSW10 Subs...Simple Low Cost Setup)...Happy Listening

Very happy with this pressing. Not audiophile, but very very good (not sure if the Pogues were recorded that way any way). I bought on E Bay to hear a UK early pressing. I am not disappointed at all - this sounds great. Looking forward to the 2024 re release.

Great record. Great songs. Well worth buying.

Black vinyl, silent pressing - was a bit worried with the comments about popping at the end of side 2 but happy to report no such issues, and a bargain at £12 on amazon UK.

I've now had two copies of the pressing and both exhibit the same problem - terrible popping on the last ~2 minutes of "Kitty". Thoroughly cleaned and tested on two tables. Anyone else with a similar experience? Other than the aforementioned, the record sounds outstanding.

Bought this cd in Russia in 2000 or 2001 .so it might be released arond these years. My first cd along with sex pistols live 1996. Still have these 20 years later
