Edited 5 months agoJust picked this up, cleaned, and spun... It is Flat, very little surface noise, Then Kitty comes at the end tick tick tick (3 copies same issue) you can see that there is a scratch (must be pressed into the end of the track), however weighted down the stylus and was able to lessen the ticks, the sound of the remaster is good which makes it even more disappointing to have this defect right at the freakin' end of the LP...other than that it sounds great...
(Fluance RT-82 w/Acrylic Platter, ATN-XP cart/5 stylus. Nobsound T3 Phono Amp, Aiyima A07 Pro, Kicker KB6B, & 2x Polk PSW10 Subs...Simple Low Cost Setup)...Happy Listening -
Black vinyl, silent pressing - was a bit worried with the comments about popping at the end of side 2 but happy to report no such issues, and a bargain at £12 on amazon UK. -
Edited 11 months agoI've now had two copies of the pressing and both exhibit the same problem - terrible popping on the last ~2 minutes of "Kitty". Thoroughly cleaned and tested on two tables. Anyone else with a similar experience? Other than the aforementioned, the record sounds outstanding.
