Perfect pressing and just a marvelous sound. I’m impressed with the quality of the vinyl and the jacket.

Bought this after being mighty impressed by the Woodland album pressing. This release is superb as well with great packaging including a poly lined inner. Plenty of static straight out of the sleeve so gave it good clean prior to spinning. My copy is flawless with flat, dead quiet vinyl. Sound is fantastic too. Hopefully a vinyl pressing of Time (the Revelator) is not too long away now. Based on both these GW& DR releases Paramount looks to be serious competition for the more established pressing plants. Let’s hope many more artists use it.

Music is magical. Wonderful sound. Pressing is not the best: crackling throughout the whole album.

Bought this this week. Mine had the slightly ribbed cover of earlier Acony releases. Maybe that comment is incorrect? I won't change it in the Release unless others confirm.

This is an amazing sounding album. I have the QRP pressing before they starting pressing with their own plant Paramount Pressing. It's a really nice pressing and this is one of the best sounding albums I own in of clarity, detail, and sound stage. Gillian Welch and David Rawlings are really old school in how they record and put out music with everything completely analog going into these albums. It really shows in the end product which is just spectacular.

Gillian and longtime music partner David Rawlings peaked HARD on this beauty! Easily Welch's best studio effort to date and the one album I recommend first to those who have no idea who either one is, be sure to check out the rest of their respective discographies as well. Wow, this is pretty much A-grade 'desert island' material here...
