This just sounds amazing! The best vinyl pressing of this album, it is just incomparably better than the standard LP version.
Stunning -
Blip blip bloop bloop blip blip whiney echoey reverb-laden falsetto moan-chant with maybe a word or two blip blip boop boop. Perhaps revolutionary at the time, but frankly not music that one yearns to sit down and listen to on a Wednesday afternoon. Kinda bleak. Difficult to hum. I do prefer other RH albums, even the “ipad replaces guitars” ones. This pressing sounds pretty nice. Is well balanced, clear and quiet vinyl. So you can hear the bleeps and bloops clearly without artifact distraction. -
One of those albums. When you hear it on vinyl, it reveals so much more the band, engineers and producer put in to make an album sound wholesome and beautiful.
All the details are presented beautifully and you can feel the space between all the instruments.
I have this GZ pressing but the noise floor is not that bad at all. There are few scratchy sound at the start of Side C & D but nothing too distracting. I lucked out! -

Edited 5 months agoMy copy is clean. Came to say this release is amazing between the bio packaging, the CD and the blotter sheet is fucking rad + The Universal Sigh newspaper. -
This thing is insane. The sound is amazing on all sides, incredibly dynamic and loud. Barely any surface noise that I could hear. The extras are also super cool. Probably one of my favourite Radiohead albums (oh wait, that's all of them) -
Fantastic pressing! I don't own the any other pressings of king of limbs so I don't have anything to compare it too but man zero pops or clicks or any surface noise period. I own the Europe xl pressing of amnesiac and that has tons of surface noise for me. PLUS the obi strip is gorgeous! -
Mine is an excellent pressing, super-quiet wax with a wide soundscape. -
Excellent. Great sounding pressing; made me a fan of this album that I skipped initially.
