Bruce Springsteen – Devils & Dust

The pressing quality is pretty solid, with minimal surface noise and good dynamics, allowing the acoustic instrumentation and Springsteen’s vocals to shine. The mastering has preserved the subtleties of the recording, bringing out the nuances in tracks like "Long Time Comin'" and "Devils & Dust." Overall the sound might benefit from slightly more depth and richness in the low end but the clarity of the recording make this vinyl release a sufficiently warm and intimate listening experience that complements the album’s reflective themes.

Mam to wydanie zakupione w 2024 w Amazon. Tłoczenie jest totalnie ciche ze wszystkich czterech stron (nawet bez czyszczenia na mokro), winyle są proste i bez zarysowań. Fantastycznie brzmiąca płyta, bardzo ją lubię i polecam spróbować w sklepie z łatwymi zwrotami. Ja nie miałem żadnych usterek, o których mówili poprzednicy.

Watch out buyers, lots of sellers listing recent reissue as a first press...ask for matrix/runout before wasting your money.

Can agree with other reviews that call this a perfect piece of vinyl. Both LPs are flat and play quiet, letting this stark album truly shine. All of these recent reissues (Rising/D&D/18 Tracks/Live in NYC/Live in Dublin) are absolutely spectacular. All of them sound amazing and layered. Check them out.

I personally love this record. The Devils & Dust tour was the last time I saw Springsteen live, so this adds a little bit of a more personal collection with this time. This pressing is fine, but I don't see a difference with the CD. I would have appreciated if this was a gatefold jacket. FYI, there is a code for you to redeem the mp3 version of the album.

I've got a slight whooshing sound as well. A shame as it's a great pressing. So great to hear this record without the compression and loudness of the CD.

Pressing default on side 4. I have had two now. A whooshing sound through The Hitter. Present on both records. AVOID!

As good as the 5.1 mix is on this disc I can't help but think how much better it would've sounded either as an SACD or advanced resolution DVD-A.
