Mine has side D duplicated on side B and C is visibly damaged with ripples in the surface of the vinyl. After reading the other comments, it seems like hilariously bad QC. Shame, because the music that is there (and plays properly) sounds great.

I am not Bruce Springsteen fan. At least not of the few songs of his I have heard. My father in law made me a CD of this album, and surprisingly to me...I do like it. -
Does anybody have a copy of this with wrong labels? On my copy, side 1 has a side 3 label on it. -
This one has always aggravated me because I love the album and bought it the first chance I got ('07 I think), but several loud pops on both sides of the first LP diminish the vinyl listening experience. Luckily my three fav tracks (Erie, McGrath, O Mary) play relatively noise free. Many cleanings have not fixed the issue sadly, so I just have to brace myself for impact haha.
I find the audio quality overall to be excellent though, which is why I keep coming back to it. -

Presume the copy I have is the European issue with beige labels (I note the US version also has beige labels)
My copy has the tracks from Side C duplicated on Side A (although the labels do list the correct tracks for Side A) and the matrix numbers confirm that this copy is indeed a misspress.
Would it be wise to start a new page for this issue or best to list it somehow under the original page? -
Edited 9 years agoOne of the most amateurishly-pressed pieces of vinyl I have the displeasure to own. Looks like a cheaply-produced bootleg, and the imperfections in the vinyl are audible in all quieter ages.
