One of Iron Maiden’s best records. ‘Arry was going through dark mind tunnels, a divorce and the fear of loosing his band, his life. All of this resonates through the album. This pressing is superb.

USA Censorship does it again! Iron Maiden provided a smart solution in the original booklet to not show Eddie's "gore" , just invert with the back cover (he sitting on a chair) in the factory, but no! They needed to fully remove it and the internal photo of Eddie on the table too... Never knew this censored edition exists until i seen it on a store and purchase it just for the collectible value.

Superb pressing. Top-notch. As for the music itself this is at the top of Maidens legacy. My 3 favorite Maiden albums are: Iron Maiden Self-Titled, Somewhere in Time, and The X-Factor. Each of those albums with a different singer, so obviously its about the music & lyrics for me. I have not listened completely to anything Maiden have put out since The X-Factor.

Funny story, in 2019, I decided to go to Portland, Maine for my 50th birthday in January! It was a fantastic vacation, and I had already spent plenty of dough in Portland's wonderful record stores. My last stop was a Bull Moose, which I had never even heard of before. They had X Factor, Virtual XI, Dance of Death, A Matter of Life and Death, and The Final Frontier all in the clearance rack for half price. The normal price was $28.97, so I got all five of the double-disc reissues for around $14.50 each. It took some convincing with the wife, and even more strategic packing to get them all back along with my other purchases, but considering what these are selling for now, I'd say $14.50 was a bargain.

I know that Iron Maiden LP's seem to appear and disappear in waves, but im really suprised by the price this is going for now
