Pink Floyd – Soundtrack From The Film "More"

Very interesting album, for me pleasant to listen to and even repeatedly. My piece was scratched, unfortunately there was no time at the time to deal with a replacement so I was left with it, but surprisingly it plays well. The sound is excellent as with all Pink Floyd records I have (new releases). The pressing can't be faulted (only the big dirt not only with this album). I recommend it.

I got a stunning NM/NM copy in my collection. It looks unplayed. I would sale it for the right price.

I saw some beautiful and expensive Mint sealed copies listed here. Just want to warn you about my story...

A friend of mine picked-up for me a so called "Mint sealed" copy of a Japanese press in Paris () from a store which is listing here and many others "Mint sealed" nice records.

My friend is not a collector/expert and despite the shrink had been opened and the record checked, he didn't see the very light hairlines and spindle marks difficult to see at day light.

The record is more or less NM all around and an insert was missing. It costed me probably twice the price I should have been paying for. It's not bad grading, it's simply robbery.

So, be careful, famous old records still sealed are pretty rare on the market. Only real collectors and very serious stores like some I'm in touch with in Japan and the US can be trusted. And unfortunately more and more robbers like that shop in Paris are re-sealing records to make more money faster. I gave it a try. Too bad for me. A second try is not necessary, just don't buy anything from that guy.

Very nice, clear, loud sound, up there with early UK versions.

I'm trying to put my copy into the database but cannot find it anywhere, It is a UK pressing EMI, Columbia SCS 6346 IE 062 04096 Stereo. The real problem is that the couple on the rear of the cover are on the left hand side looking to the right and I cannot find such a copy any where. Can anyone help?

Louder and more powerful than the early UK LP editions, at the cost of nuances and subtility in the bright spectrum. Nice if you like it heavy.

Very rich and nuanced bright end, but cut very low (as is the case with other LP editions I own).

Fantastic sound. Powerful, clear, natural, not "digital" at all. A masterjob by the Das Boot crew imho.
