Notes
First press. On label side 1, Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 5 is credited to "Wright-Waters-Gilmour" (later issues have "Waters" only). This version has these same credits as the first UK issue Wish You Were Here, but it differs in that the mastering was done by Harry Moss (HTM appears in the runout of side 2). Inner sleeve has the corners cut on top side and bottom left side viewed from the side with the red veil.

I have 8 copies of Wish You Were Here in their (original) opened black shrink wraps with their circular stickers on the front. They vary from early pressings to later (1980s?) presses. If anyone is interested please message me.

UK, matrix side A: SHVL 814A Side B: SHVL 814B (nothing more in matrix) Has the black plastic sleeve but the inner has no die cut corners. Waters-Gilmour-Wright credited for Shine On You Crazy Diamond part 5. Bought in Denmark 1975. Not listed on discogs.

I have searched for my copy over and over and can not find a match. I believe this is possibly a Santa Maria pressing the runouts are stamped
Side 1 AL 33453 1 C followed by etched A ? 8 and opposite the stamp it's etched HTM for the lacquer cutter
Side 2 BL 33453 3 C
Label is blue with both AL and BL numbers and has the "Hand Shake Art" and no times
Cover has no printing besides the pictures the spine has PC 33453 Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here Columbia Stereo and the price code (698) cardboard inner sleeve opens at the top with lyrics
This is a US release that I got around the time of release, it could be a promo as I worked in the industry and received lots of handouts,it is not a reissue or repress. If you could point me in the right direction I would be very thankful -
Mine has matrix side A: AL 33453 1A 2A scratched HTM, and side 2: BL 33453 1C SX scratched. I never found this variant. Only cover, no inner sleeve to match with. Cover has only PC 33453 on spine and Columbia Stereo X698 on spine. -

Edited one year agoJust got a very clean VG+ copy and the dynamics are lovely. Not convinced it’s superior to the 2016 remaster, but it does hold historical value for me. -
anybody else having problems, loading all 929 versions ?

Such an amazing smooth sounding album. The dynamic is wow, this 33 sounds like a 45, and I would be fooled if I were told it was. Highly recommend this original wherever you can find it! Should the quality be anything decent, it’s a steal if it isn’t near 100 bucks or over. Vinyl keeps getting popular, this will be getting harder and harder to grab. -
My version is also different. Same label (Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 5 is credited to "Waters-Gilmour-Wright"). Matrix variation:

Inner sleeve has all 4 corners cut.
