Meddle is the sixth studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd,
recorded 4 January – 11 September 1971 and released October 30, 1971 by Harvest.
4 January 1971:
Pink Floyd began a week-long stint at Peter Bown,
recording ideas for their next album, Meddle.
8 April 1971:
Pink Floyd returned to EMI Studios for a week's recording session.
Further recording sessions took place throughout the month.
19 July 1971:
Pink Floyd went to North London's Morgan Studios to continue work on Meddle,
including final mixes for the track Echoes.
30 October 1971:
Meddle was released in the US, a week ahead of the UK. It reached No. 70 in the charts.
5 November 1971:
Meddle was released in the UK and reached No. 3 in the charts.

Edited one month agoThis has laminated sleeve yes ?
I have two with exactly same labels and covers , one is laminated , one isn't. I suspect they are different years but close with the laminated being the earlier -
Oh geez I suppose it's worth a shot,, does anyone have and outer sleeve only to sell?? I came across an immaculate copy of the record but no sleeve. Please let me know. Thanks all -

Fantastic sounding version! This mastering is incredible clean almost like the vinyl version. -
My copy has Matrix (Variant 1) and Cover identical as above however, LC1305 on label is in Green and made in on bottom of label. Label looks closer to 70s pressings.
Sound is great. Full sound stage. Strong base. Really happy with this pressing. -
I found a really clean copy of this and it sounds really good. Very detailed sound, my only complaint is I wish there was a little more bass, but overall this sounds amazing. -

I think I’m lucky because my copy sounds amazing, without any defect like reported before by the other friend. Yes theres some background noise but it’s because of the low quality of raw material. Compared to the uk I would say it’s very close. Being the UK 10/10, this Brazilian would be 9/10. The sound is surprisingly good! -
My copy is flat and flawless without a single pop. Sounds great with my ML stylus.
