Asked my dad to search for metal albums for me in goodwill bins. He found this and gave it to me.
Was excited what it was and listened it through Spotify.
Found it to be an amazing album, even though it showed to definitely not be my music of choice. One thing I noticed fast was:
B1 Just An Illusion is only instrumental, as stated here. Felt a bit disappointed when I played the record, being used to texted version.
Overall, this is an exceptionally cachy, chill and excellent album!

I have this Gloversville pressing though it's in a UK gatefold sleeve, I live in and it was bought in the UK. Sounds fabulous though, really quiet pressing and lovely full sounding bass, can only recommend this pressing.

I seem to have a US first press in a UK gatefold sleeve, it seems to be the Gloversville pressing. I guess the second hand shop i bought it from many many years ago just threw them together to make a good copy out of two not so good ones perhaps. Gotta say it sounds great though, lovely quiet pressing with great bass.

Genre is by far more Funk and Soul, Style of course Boogie. Damned amateurs.

This album remains my favourite of all Imaginations output, from start to finish pure GOLD!. Had this pumping out of my stereo when I was a boy and still annoy my neighbours with it today. Sounds fresh and lush.

So every one knows, this pressing sounds fn' horrible. The surface noise is beyond ridiculous. The mastering is all mids, very hollow. May sound better on a crap stereo than the original, but if your stereo is good, this is bad. Do yourself a favor and find an OG pressing or stick to the reissue CDs - the 2006 Fonte box sounds great.

I was gifted a copy of this and it has “FOR PROMOTION ONLY”, “Ownership Reserved by MCA RECORDS, Inc.” “Sale is Unlawful” stamped up in the top left corner. Can’t find a match on discogs, only the Japan promo? Anyone else have this?
