Great rock album by Whitesnake and this German pressing sounds great too. -

This is the BEST Whitesnake album. It’s got a stellar lineup, driving riffs, excellent melodies and vocals. Not a bad song on this album, it’s a masterpiece to say the least. -
This boxset is most complete- you have original UK mix, US mix, new 2019 mix, Monitor Mix, a complete live show without overdubs, demos and videos.
Short song intros from David Coverdale, late great music playing of John Sykes and John Lord are cherry on top.
The only downside is you really need to love the songs because it's about 12 songs repeating in different mixes and settings. -
Not sure, but this looks like it was reissued in 2017 through Rhino using the 25th anniversary issue originally thro' Geffen & EMI

Good sounding vinyl. Crisp and clear from top to bottom. Nothing muddy. Nothing "thin". My side B though is hotter than side A. -

I do have this CD re-release. The only difference was that it was re-issued somewhere between 1990 through 1994 I believe, since the CD was distributed by Geffen but through a different sub-divisionary.
Geffen Records distributed their catalogue from 1980 through 1990 with Warner Bros., after which the contract with them expired, so the Geffen label was sold to MCA Records Inc. from 1990 through onwards (later become Universal Music Group). -

Surprisingly, this is one of the best pressings of Whitesnake albums.
It sounds so dynamic. Fortunately, my copy came with an attached concert ticket from "Slide It In Tour" thanks to the previous owner. -
