#1
Lover (Live From Paris)
Taylor Swift
2025
After a few months away from the top of the Discogs sales charts, Taylor Swift has reclaimed her spot with a reissue of her 2023 release original release, which included two standard records, one pink and one blue.
Fans had 72 hours to preorder the reissue through Swift’s website, starting on January 7, or until supplies ran out. Following its shipment, fans who missed the initial release have turned to Discogs to secure a copy. As of publication, it holds the title of the best-selling release of the year so far.
#2
Music From Twin Peaks
Angelo Badalamenti
1990
Few creative partnerships feel as divine as the one between Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch. The two shared a deep bond, with Lynch building worlds and Badalamenti consistently delivering the perfect scores to match. Their collaborations spanned several projects, but for most fans, Twin Peaks is the peak of their synergy.
Despite its obscurity, mystery, and (in the second season) sci-fi twists, Twin Peaks also leaned heavily into soap opera pastiche. Badalamenti’s score bridged these contrasting elements. With the emotional “Twin Peaks Theme” and “Laura Palmer’s Theme,” he delved into the show’s darkness. Meanwhile, tracks like “Dance of the Dream Man” and “Freshly Squeezed” brought smoky saxophone lines and noir-inspired vibraphone melodies, amplifying the melodrama that made the strange Pacific Northwestern town feel both surreal and familiar.
#3
Severance: Season 1
Theodore Shapiro
2023
In 2022, Theodore Shapiro‘s disquieting score, a brilliant sonic perfume to the liminal world the main characters choose to spend their 9-5.
Severance praise settled between season one and the recently released season two, until the cast performed as their characters mid-work inside a glass box in Grand Central Station earlier this month. Since the 2023 pressing of the show’s memorable soundtrack.

Images And Words
Dream Theater
2025
Rhino kicked off 2025 with its Start Your Ear Off Right reissue campaign, releasing 26 limited-edition titles across four drops in January. The first drop, on January 3, included four releases from the prog metal pioneers, Dream Theater — Images and Words, Falling Into Infinity.
The campaign featured additional drops on January 17, 24, and there will be a final one on January 31. Many of the releases tie into other Rhino initiatives, such as the ZZ Top reissues.
#5
Saltburn (Music From The Motion Picture)
Various
2024
Saltburn intrigued, excited, terrified, and grossed out the world last year. In particular, one scene featuring star Barry Keoghan and a bathtub has cemented itself as one of the most memorable, albeit disgusting, movie scenes of the last few years.
Pressed by Greatest Hits awards, which is partially responsible for the recent uptick in sales.
