it says on wiki that one track was removed from the original album to get it down to the 9 tracks we know -- is that missing track on the bonus disc, and if so which one is it?

After 14 years, Seefeel's debut, QUIQUE, gets a re-release, with a bonus disc of mixes and rarities. But the main album still holds up as a unique hybrid of electronics and guitar work -- post-rock before it was a thing. The gentle waves of "Climactic Phase #3" contrasts the harsher dub tones of "Polyfusion" (which, of course, are sweetened by Sarah Peacock's looped vocals). But the blissful "Imperial" sets the listener adrift in the clouds, while the light percussion of "Plainsong" help ground the otherwise ethereal track. The utter dreaminess of "Charlotte's Mouth" seems like the very definition of 'chill out,' and that's before "Filter Dub" swoons in, and "Signals" takes the album out on an ambient float. On the bonus disc, they set "Clique" so some subdued breaks and skate atop it, while the "Is It Now?" and "My Super 20" go full-on ambient. The dub bass rules the day on "Filter Dub (i-01 Mix)" as much as the guitar refraction does on "Come Alive( Climactic Phase #1)." "Time to Find Me (Alternate Desk Mix)" is a rather minimal interpretation, while "Charlotte's Mouth (Avant Garde Mix)" offers more to chew on, sonically. "Climactic Phase #3 (Overnight Mix)" is an especially chill piece of loopiness, and "Silent Pool" ends on a meditative note. After all these years, still a sublime album.

Welcome deluxe reissue of a brilliant & highly individual album. I'm not sure there's anything added that is any better than the original material, but it is all interesting stuff.
