My copy has Side A record label totally missing...probably a unique copy. Otherwise as per std. -
I think it would have been rad if they included a reissue of the concert footage as well. As a DVD. That would have sold me. -
there is a blotch- a bit of paper? ingrained in one of my discs rendering a couple of tracks unplayable. something of a pity as it otherwise is a high quality release.

An amazing surprise on this great reissue. Sound is deep, pure and dynamic, superb.

Nice try and certainly a decent release. I can see (and hear) what they have done in comparison to the original, but somehow the magic has lost on this reissue- apart from inconsistenties regarding colouring of the images and lettering (witch isn’t too bad overall). My advice: buy the original, the prices are (for the moment at least) not in the stratosphere..

As noted in other reviews, this is a quality release in every way. The packaging is well done and faithful to the original release, and the vinyl release is extremely quiet, which is imperative for DCD issues. I'm very excited that they split this to two records, but wish they would have had Mobile Fidelity do a 1/2 speed release of this. Still, they did an excellent job with the release and I'm stoked that new ones are in the $20 range. -

Edited 8 years agoExcellent reissue!!! Good pressing quality, great sound, nice cover (but a bit unsharp printing on the cover backside and I noticed some color abrasions on inner sleeves on my copy).
