The vinyl sounds good, some surface noise on sides 1 & 2, however, 3 & 4 are crystal clear and clean. The soundstage is full and dynamic. I have had this since the initial re-issue in 2016, as well as most of the other 4AD re-issues, which are hit or miss with the clicks and pops, this is one of the better ones. A fantastic setlist and the vinyl just begs to be cranked! My neighbors probably have no idea what the hell is going on over here, lol. For the price the re-issues are going for, it really is a great album.

This is a spiritual recording and this original press captures that in its entirety. Every instrument seems to shimmer with this record and if you close your eyes you can see yourself in the audience. Beautifully powerful, if you truly love this band and this album you MUST seek out an original copy. Your ears and soul will thank you.

I think it would have been rad if they included a reissue of the concert footage as well. As a DVD. That would have sold me.

there is a blotch- a bit of paper? ingrained in one of my discs rendering a couple of tracks unplayable. something of a pity as it otherwise is a high quality release.
