I finally got my hands on a nice clean copy of this album on vinyl and it was a real treat after loving the album for 20 years and the band for even longer. I was concerned with this being a single LP pressing, but thankfully it didn’t hinder the sound quality too much. There is some minor to moderate degrading of the sound quality and depth during the last couple songs on each side, plus a little bit of sibilance in a few spots, but nothing too major or deal breaking. The songs that aren’t effected by these issues sound terrific and make me wish that quality was present for the entire run time, but it is what it is and I enjoyed it the entire way through. Unless a new reissue comes about, this 2001 pressing and the equally rare 2012 reissue are the only versions of this album on vinyl and, assuming the 2012 is as good as this one, I can recommend these pressings on the basis of quality... but price is another thing. $200 to $300 or more is a little steep for a usually used, non-audiophile quality record. So, it comes down to how badly you want it in your collection. I wanted it real real bad, so I took the chance and I don’t regret it.

I seeing copies of this at my local HMV for CAD$16.99 back in 2001. Why on earth did I not buy myself one?!

All crammed into one platter is a waste of time especially for music with huge bass like this. I think I got this LP for free from a friend. The band's catalog needs vinyl reissue program and each single LP cut on a double.
