Edited 6 months agoI wonder how many people bought this for £400+ when the hype was at its highest? I can buy a VG+ copy today for £40. And the price is coming down again to what it was before the band split.

Edited 5 months agoWho else re when this was $60-$80 N/M, after shipping? 🙋 (it was before they broke up and the hypetrain blew it out of proportion)

13 years on and this still slaps.
The sounds of the album is very futuristic especially for it's time, this came out the same time as Björk's Vespertine and SOAD's Toxicity, albums with great sound but have aged a bit after nearly a decade, this album here as barely aged a bit. All the songs are manufactured around the production and most of the vocals "(if there are any) are baked into the production so well that it sounds like they recorded it instead of sampling it. The songs still hit with the energy and ferociousness to keep you rocking your head along with it. I have a vinyl of this and makes the songs even better somehow as it feels like your at a techno club in the future. -
This album needs no introduction. Doesn't feel like much use reviewing an album this huge, but Discovery is too important to me as a person not to. Discovery is Daft Punk's best work in my opinion, and it was vital to me in developing my taste for Electronic music as a teenager. This album has some of the most infectious melodies and masterful sample work in the history of music as a whole. Discovery lives up to the hype.

Is anyone able to assist with two things ?
Did not all original pressings come with the daft club card ?
And does anyone have a spare daft club card on a sheet?
Many thanks Johnny -
So I’ve got this 2 disc version of the Discovery Album, and it’s the same songs on both sides of one of the discs. So on disc one Side B, it should be playing HBFS, Crescendolls, Nightvision and Superheroes. However it’s the same songs as side A, One more time & aerodynamic & Digital love. Both sides of Disc 2 seem to be accurate. I’ve never had a misprint or whatever this would be. Any value to it?
