Damn, this sounds great. Powerful with a spacious soundstage, can be dialed to 11 without distortion. I only have the remastered digital to compare and that sounds flat and…nice. Ramones shouldn’t sound nice, they should be punching you in the cochlea. This is raw and aggressive with great separation and thumping low end. Get this one. [Tech specs in my profile].

A strong contender for the best live album of all time, if what you are looking for is a record of a band at their absolute peak playing all stops out - in my opinion anyway. According to Marky, this was heavily overdubbed in the studio, but I don't know; on the 2019 5 LP of this, the Birmingham and Aylesbury sets sound pretty similar to the Roundhouse set, as you might expect. So suspend disbelief I think and enjoy it for the moment in time that it is

Anyone got original UK press with misprint label so label for side 2 is on both side one and two (no side one label).

What's the vinyl version with the best dynamics? Or what are the ones to avoid because too compressed (if any)?

Brilliant album - high point? The delay on You're Gonna Kill That Girl where you can hear the crowd roar expectantly before the chorus. RIP to the saviours of rock n roll i.e. Tommy Joey Johnny Dee Dee

Does anyone happen to have a Spare copy of Disk2 (preferably Variant 1) for sale? I recently bought a sealed copy that must have been a mis-package, I have two Cherry copies of Disk1, but no Disk2.
Anyone? -
I am curious why this awesome album never was part of any CD remaster series? It's Ramones at the very top.
