Mine sounds good. It’s been a bit dirty and has very slight surface scuffs because of the hardish plastic sleeve its been in, but nothing audible.
Gave it a cleaning and put it into a better inner sleeve.
And I am very happy that this isn’t a 2LP. Just one nice record. -
I am confused with my copy. It has only year 2015 on the back cover and record has no pressing rings. However matrix information matches with this release and clearly states MPO. So year 2015 and no pressing rings indicate my copy is a Celebrate pressing but matrix states otherwise. Does anyone else have this version? Any advice which version this is? Thanks!

One of the worst sounding records I own; what a shame! I have the Japanese CD also- will give this a listen soon.

Edited 4 years agoI'm not an expert but this is to me one of the Bowie's finest albums. I own this MPO pressing and I also own CD version (Europe). In my opinion CD version is so much better. There's a big difference.

I have great issues on the right channel on side A, a lot of IGD. However, sound is pretty dynamic and clear. IGD is unbearable though. Cheers

I own two 2nd pressings:
The "MPO pressing" has a soft plastic inner cover like the outer protective dust covers for LPs.
The "Celebrate pressing" has a clear hard plastic inner cover.
For me the MPO sounds cleaner. Celebrate has some cracks and slightly more noise in the blank grove. -

"The first European release pressed at MPO. Recognisable by "© & ℗ 2015 ISO Records" on the back cover, "MPO" in the runout etching, and three concentric pressing rings on the labels."
Both descriptions are identicals, that means, that the only one difference is there :
"There is also a weight difference in the sealed package between the first and second pressing from MPO, first 517 gr and second 472 gr."
It is a joke, isn't it ? -
