Haven’t listened to in years. My copy is flat & quiet. The dynamics are top notch. Must have got lucky with my pressing. Stunning album, highly recommend Nils Frahm.
-
Nothing about my copy indicates that this is a VMP release. I bought this at a record store still sealed. Weird.
-
This is the worst pressing I have ever heard. Side 4 unlistenable due to non fill. Non fill not just in a few places but the entire side! I can press a better record in my garage then this.
-
Really disappointed in that I did not get the version a few others did. Packaging is good - could use better stock for sure. My side four is absolute mess of snap crackle pop. It’s non stop. Used high end cleaner and static tools and nothing. It’s brutal. The rest of of the discs are below average but side four is appalling.
-
Amazing record, beautiful piano and analogue synths all recorded live. A must for the music. However, this is a noisy press. Snap, crackle, pop all over the place which really detracts from the beauty of the compositions. Shame.
-
For me, this was a knockout for VMP. Everything from the music to the packaging to the pressing quality to the artwork are all phenomenal. Hadn't heard of Frahm before this, making this month's experience all the richer.
