TM(s)® RCA CORP—MADE IN U.S.A.

Although this is a U.S. pressing for the U.S. market, interestingly enough, RCA used the lacquer mastering by French engineer Yves Delaunay at Dyam, in (where this album was recorded), done for the UK & Europe market, rather than order a new lacquer mastering done in the U.S.

LOL. “Translucent” brown means it likely used Quiex II which resulted in a quieter playback (less surface noise), not that is extra thin and cheap. Quiex II was a pure vinyl formulation that was colored with dye rather than the more commonly used carbon black (which has coarse granules and creates noise)

It is something I seek out whenever possible and is definitely something worth mentioning.

I am so sick of seeing this. It isn't "translucent" brown. The problem is that this is cheap vinyl, thinly pressed so any light you hold up to it will make it appear "translucent". Pay for this if you want to but what you're getting is regular black vinyl that only appears as a different color once you hold it up to some light source.
