I always seemed to over this album. Why..I dont know...because the more you listen to it..the better it gets. Really its one of "those" albums. It takes a while to get it. This pressing is so good. Like the rest in this series..only 10k made and I am lucky to have #3302. All you have to do is listen to the bass line on Exposure....enuff said.

Fantastic pressing of a decent album. Not by favorite Peter Gabriel album. ..that title goes to PG3 (Melt)...but this one sound incredible..a great job mastering and the Lacquer cut was done exceptionally well. Hats off to Matt. I'm not a big fan of 45 rpm pressings. .mainly because you need to flip sides every 2 to 3 songs...but when an album sounds this good..it's worth the effort.

Additionally, this recording has very little dynamic range compression (-0.1 as measured by DRC-Meter).

These limited edition, numbered, 45 rpm half-speed master editions are awesome. They are whisper quiet and have a very strong signal (+1.5 dB on my scale). They also come with a free digital and you can select 24-bit, 48 kHz hi-resolution versions. In addition the LPs come in beautiful gatefold jackets (even if the original album was not gatefold). They are produced directly by Peter Gabriel’s company and so they are done right. These albums are my most prized and loved possessions.

I am a huge Peter Gabriel fan and had to get them all. Peter Gabriel 2 (Scratch) is the Peter Gabriel album that I did not have a copy of that I had purchased back in the ‘80s. I was somewhat less familiar with its material. That being said I have also grown to love this album. “Exposure” is my favorite track on this album. As with all the others the production and mastering on this version is precisely perfect—a joy to listen to.
