Edited 2 years agoThis is far better than the original ''Jet Star'' of DANCE 012
The best and most complete version of the track is B1 Jet-Star (A2 Roadwork Mix) which is the winner of all mixes, plus you have the B2 ''Feeel The Power'' track from DANCE 006
This 12'' is so great especially the b-side.
P. S: 1991 techno release for sure, apart from "feel the power" which is a 1990 track. -
These remixes were actually circulating from as early as October 1991, perhaps earlier, and were featured on several DJs' sets from that period. Personally prefer these remixes of Jet-Star from the original mixes. Rougher and slightly darker.
By the way, for those outside the UK and not familiar with our road networks. The A12 is a major dual carriageway, trunk road which links inner London to the East Anglia region (namely Norfolk) and the east coast of England. I'm not sure what the 'Nightmare' in the main subtitle is referring to, but from memory and personal experience, there were certain sections of that A12 which were a bit of a nightmare to travel on back then. Not sure how much it's improved since then as I haven't used it for years, apart from very, very rarely in London, and it's especially atrocious in London, like much of the transport network generally is.
Anyway, back from the long winded A12 improvement roadworks detour and delays, the remixes need to be seeked out if one is a fan of something slightly rougher and an avid collector of D-Zone Records in general.
