Perhaps the best atmospheric Jungle tunes ever made. These 2 tracks are royalty, and still sound fresh now. "Desire" specially is so unique. Filled with such longing, such unfulfillable longing, it's no wonder it's name just that. It effortlessly blends in a Trance melody in the breakdown at the middle of the track. It's so beautiful and timeless, it's enough to make the hairs on your arms and back stand up. Shivers, pure shivers. "Promised Land" feels like flying in a dream through the skies, the vocal cries echoing in and out, and the twinkles of the synths appearing bright like stars. For something that came out in '94, these tracks pioneered sounds and became blueprints for others to follow. 10/10, 5 stars.

Whilst there is nothing groundbreaking or influential about these two tracks, they are both good enough to warrant some love from me, after all its Pete Parsons AKA Voyager who is a huge pillar of the early intelligent Jungle/Artcore scene. Both tracks are planted in that early Jungle period with quality vibes, laid back and thoughtful breaks, booming baselines with some ethnic/house elements for good measure. Fabio/Bukem style from 93
