Just got a copy second hand that was well cared for, this pressing honestly sounds really clean. Some pops but nothing too noisy about anything here. -

This is a great album, and the first three songs is genuinely some of the best stuff dream pop has ever produced. This pressing sounds lovely and warm, and the novelty of having a fuzzy record sleeve is a plus. Would recommend if you can get it for a good price! -

Edited 3 years agoBe warned, the cover will shed like crazy. As for the record itself, mine came pretty warped. Sounds fine but nothing special. Sub-Pop quality control is Sub-Par at best. Great album though. -
Sounds great to me! My copy came with some surface scuffing from the harsh printed paper inner sleeve, but nothing affected play. It was super dirty however, and needed a few wet cleans to become nice and glossy again. It sounds phenomenal, nearly as good as Bloom- and thats on 45rpm with only 2-3 tracks per side! Rich, deep, and expansive- putting this on through headphones is a recipe for losing track to time and getting lost in the music. Super impressed by this pressing, but the "velvet" sleeve is super prone to shedding, and needs to be kept in a plastic outer sleeve. -
love this album, sounds fantastic. the velvet sleeve is really a cool feature, but make sure to clean your record off before playing it and to use an outer sleeve as small pieces of the silk will come off and get everywhere -
Listening to this now, it sounds great. Obviously not all-analog, but plays perfectly with almost no surface noise and the mixing/mastering is on point. -
found this in my collection today, sounds incredible but just wish i took care of it when i bought it back in 2016. unfortunately i played it on subpar equipment so many time that theres lots of groovewear and scuffs from the paper sleeve

I love this album. For a long time Teen Dream was my favorite, but Depression Cherry finally won me over. I can confirm that this is an excellent pressing; the quality of the vinyl is superb.
