Any way of telling the difference between first and second press? I have a sealed copy, and don’t want to open it. TIA!

Has anyone noticed that the 91 and 96 have the same runout groove numbers? They look basically the same. The only difference is a handwritten C or L. Doesn’t that seem fishy to anyone? Every other Lookout release starts with an “L”. I don’t think a “c” really exists. The one for certain reissue I found(Neurosis 7”)has “re” written into the grooves. There weren’t multiple states and locations pressing this record. There had to be multiple plates on multiple machines pressing simultaneously. I believe it’s all one giant pressing right up until they start adding the printed inner advertising for other lookout releases. Even then it might be the same plates. CDs were the latest in high fidelity. Nobody cared about the quality of a vinyl pressing in the 90s.

There are several repressings of the Kerplunk Lookout Records version i believe because of the growing popularity of the band. Does anybody know or have the 1st pressing? I wanna know the difference between the 1st and later pressings.

What makes this a "german" release? It seems identical to: https://discogs.librosgratis.biz/de/Green-Day-Kerplunk/release/706134
