People are definitely mis-catag this album on Discogs in their collections --I ordered mine (a first pressing) around 2001, back when nobody was interested in vinyl records. There's no way 20,000+ people have this particular release.

Edited one year agoI'm holding a copy with a matrix / runout match, where the only difference is an etched Roman numeral III. Outer sleeve details also match this release. Photos added, unless this is considered it's own pressing.

Edited one year agoI just bought this new and sealed in 2024 and I have the same runouts and catalogue number on the spine. Sounds really good to me.

This original 2001 pressing rips. Cut super hot, guitars fuzzy as hell and everything right in your face. Really well done, but very rough around the edges as expected.

Can anyone with a first press confirm that the band’s website is the first thing listed under the barcode on the back cover?
My copy reads: “WWW.THESTROKES.COM | The RCA Record label is a unit…” but is otherwise identical in every way.
I want to say I bought my copy during their first tour right after the album came out but honestly can’t … -

SUCH a great album I think the "Haves" are severely bloated because they unfortunately made the reissue matrix number so similar. This is the very first press be cautious before adding your copy to this version

This was the first vinyl I ever bought alongside Room on Fire at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame during a trip in 2010. Never had a setup until 2020, had no idea what I was sitting on. This sounds great and I spin it once or twice a month. Such a special one.
