Disappointed by this. Soundstage and dynamics are good, but not good enough to over come sibilance in a lot of the vocals.

Great sounding. As someone said, This was made for vinyl, it sounds so good. Deep bass, clean acoustics and clear vocals. There is a little surface noise, and occasional clicks, but they are very light. Kinda gives it a nice nostalgic sound tbh. Absolutely beautiful sounding!
Mine came dirty as hell. Dust all over it, hairs too. The label on side A had a dirt smudge or something, which I find hilarious because I bought is brand new and sealed 😆 the packaging is lackluster Tbf, but other than that, the vinyl is heavy and the sound is stunning. -
Beautifully recorded and translated to vinyl. Probably as good as this will get; guitars captured beautifully, great soundstage with minor noise heard in the silence but kinda unintentionally works for this album. Also, love the greater pause between tracks. My runouts are a bit different but seem to be the reissue after this one for which there is not a listing yet (JAG115LP-A-RE5 RJ STERLING).

The hole on my copy is elongated, so if it's not placed on the spindle properly, it forces my tonearm to significantly sway. I'm guessing this causes the "swooshing" many people are complaining about. It sucks to get a factory defect, but if you align it right, it does sound really good, FWIW.

No issues here, there is barely any surface noise which is impressive for a quiet album. Music sounds great, packaging has nth to write home about

Edited 4 years agoNo issues with my copy. Barely any surface noise and only a few noteworthy pops especially considering what a quiet album this is. SETUP - Technics SLDD33 (LP Gear CFT4PSE cart. tracking 1.5g) Pioneer SX 737, Klipsch R51M.

On side A I noticed static / swooshing sounds coming out of the right channel, which were consistently happening at consistent intervals on the rotation.
