For what it’s worth, this doesn’t sound that muddy to me! There are better and worse tracks in of clarity, but sounds way better than I thought from reading these two previous reviews. My only complaint is that Solsbury Hill might be the softest track on the record!

For better or worse - and I get that this sounds "muddy" to modern listeners - this is how the record sounded in the day and the way the artist and producer Bob Ezrin clearly wanted it to sound. Great pressing IMO and I love the Hypgnosis artwork and printed inner sleeve.

Muddy, muffled. Yuck. The Liberated Prince of Prog deserves better sound for his first solo outing. It’s a shame because the content is phenomenal. Maybe he used the sonic Saran Wrap and put dishrags in my speakers as an artistic statement and predictive feature to enable Sledgehammer to sound so shimmery years later. He was plotting!
