Edited one year agoWhat a massive listening! Climbing from one impressive arrrangement to the next, I feel it´s even superior to their first album. "Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)" is amazing. I´m not a Zack de La Rocha fan and can´t comprehend why so many people think he´s a worthy addition to their music, but here he works great. Lovely production overall with lots of input to the subwoofer, quite experimental beats and instrumental design, but still pretty straight in your face. I think the sum is even superior to their first work, which also is quite a rock.Crisply sounding pressing on heavy vinyl too, I just wonder why they cut the Gangsta Boo verse. Probably plain moneymaking, especially since they implemented it back for a second pressing. Things like this don´t happen for nothing.

Not trolling at all. I was pretty confused when I realized her part is not on this pressing and it kind of ruins the song for me. Being a memphis rap enthusiast in general I enjoy her style quite a bit, regardless of the song topic though.

I don't understand why the vinyl LP couldn't just be on 1 LP, its one extra song compared to the first RTJ album...someone explain this to me, it just seems like a bitch to constantly switch vinyl on such a short album

Edited 10 years agoVery cool album. First, the teal vinyl is great looking. And it sounds pretty great too. The low end is on point. The album itself is good, athough I'm not sure it measures up to the first one, which would be very tough to do. Is anyone else really annoyed by the vocal sampling (the repetitiveness and how it never freaking stops) on "Close Your Eyes" with Zack? Kinda ruins a cool beat and an awesome appearance from someone I wish a heard a lot more from.
