Got ripped if with this version at record fair. New sealed copy to replace my 2nd press 89 version that had been played to death.
Lots of pops and clicks even after an ultrasonic clean. Mastering is awful and killed the original vibe of the album.. Avoid at all costs.. -
A few pops here and there. Even after ultrasound cleaning. Not the best pressing, but for this price it's ok.
-
OK pressing. A few loud pops but good overall. Very flat and compressed though. Needs a two disk release.
-
Can't fault this pressing. Amazing quality, great sound. Would of loved them to do another 45RPM 2LP version. Though the 1LP is just as good. 😍
-
My copy of this is top notch - only complaint is bass is slightly too high but easy enough to modulate. The perfect “playing” copy imo

My copy from back in the day had developed a slight skip in the middle of 'I Am The Resurrection' after countless plays and like a lot of people here it seems I saw this version for sale in my local supermarket for £10 and bought it on a whim. It seems like buying this version is very hit or miss sadly after reading through the reviews. I guess I was one of the lucky ones, as someone who owned an early copy and also bought the 45rpm version on release I have no issues with this version, it plays quietly, the record is clean and there's little discernible difference in sound between this and my early pressing, if anything this version has a slightly fuller sound which I don't mind at all. It's a shame that so many people seem to have got bad copies but that seems to be a common issue these days, the lack of quality control appears to be widespread in this day and age. All I can say is that if you get lucky this is a perfectly acceptable release, I guess you pay your money and take your chance.

Poor quality pressing. Muffled and unclear, Made of Stone terrible, B-Side is the worst. Shameful way to treat one of the best albums ever made.
-
Purchased a week ago, sealed. Absolutely disgraceful - filthy dirty, fine horizontal and vertical scratches all over both sides, huge thumb prints. Haven't played as returning.
