In case anyone is interested. I have now compared the UK, US and German pressings. Not that easy. The mastering differs from song to song. The UK has more bass. Kyoto Song in particular is stunning on the UK pressing. But the US pressing is a bit more compact and 1 DB louder than the UK. The German is somewhere in between. But Close to me really stands out on the German one. The song is mixed much wider in stereo. The wheezing and gasping for air is distributed very widely in the room. So I'm almost at a loss. I would put the UK a bit ahead of the German and then the US pressing.
Who knows the Japanese one and has heard it in comparison? -

I'm looking but I don't see anywhere else on DG: special edition of THOTD including Close to me 12 single, with promo sticker.

That's a perfectly sounding pressing!! much clearer and more detailed than my other German pressing.

Can someone tell me what is the proper way of writing "In Between Days"?
This is what I could find online.
The original Fiction Records CD release has the track labelled as "Inbetween Days"
The original Elektra Records CD release has it labelled as "In Between Days"
The original vinyl release has it labelled as "In Between Days" on the back side and on the record, but it's labelled as "Inbetween Days" on the liner.
The single release cover has it as "In Between Days"
So this is the problem. Was there a certain spelling that the band preferred or should i just pick the one i like better? -

Researching the promotional poster that came with the UK first pressing , as mine did , im yet to find a reference to it with the album anywhere , but have found 3 for sale and its stated its been folded 3 times for storage reasons , the reason for those 3 folds , is so it fits into the album cover !
