Edited 2 years agoAfter Images And Words my fave(and underrated) DT album. Especially the first record of the two. Misunderstood and The Glass Prison are amazing.
Nice pressing BTW. -
The best pressing at the moment (obviously). MOV did a good work with this album.
This is the only way to listen this great album like a audiophile. -
Easily beats the the CD by miles. I don’t know what Elektra was smoking when they made the CD. Like they limited Six Degrees’s power by 50%. Music on Vinyl brought it out to 110%.
No distortion, no clipping, and no surface. Bottom ends are relentless. Explosions are timed perfectly. Dynamics are on absolute a 4k level. Drums will punch you like a boxer. Bass will give you a air high. Guitars will cut you to your bones. Keyboards extract your soul. Vocals will mesmerized your ears. You want a vinyl to test your soundstage performance? This is it! -

Yes an amazing version, very well done. Although I am sure this was not recorded on 2" tape, in 2001-02 digital is king in the studio. But what this release shows is how amazing a digital recording can sound when mastered as a vinyl version. I have the original CD of this album and it does not stand up to this version.

Oh man. I know for a fact this album was recorded on 2" tape, and I can absolutely tell this was mastered from that original source. This is an extremely clear and dynamic pressing. I'm floored.
-
This is an awesome pressing! The sound is just breathtaking! Plus I recently upgraded my cartridge to a Shure M97xe. After that it's become even better! MOV issues are just amazing!
