Edited 13 years agoExcuse me, but for me this album is not very good (2 or 3/5), and however i love like a crazy the previous VNV's releases (5/5). Probably due to the EBM touch is very very "light" on this work (currently is even M.I.A.), with a voice a bit "sweet" versus early times, of 242's covers and another delicious sounds. As well, the martial touch is also missing.
Ok! It's a next step. A brave change that breaks with the past. But without doubt, it's a second era. A new era that starts in the year 2005 with the Anachron Record Label, or even before, with the 'Future Perfect' album, released in 2002.
One more time, i'm sorry... but 1995-2000 were the better years (Discordia, Off Beat & Dependent) althought in the next years they have each day more and more fans, play at gigs with more audience... In another words, turn a bit more "commercial" or "soft" his sounds. Obviously, just is my oppinion.
