Mine seems to be 180g with wide spine jacket. I'm not sure if I have a different pressing as I did purchase mine in South Korea, but the Europe pressing doesn't specify vinyl weight either 🤔

Alright, I own both the "Big Machine Records" and the "Re-Recordings" on vinyl. Out of all of the "Big Machine Records" albums, this one is probably the worst. Both of the discs are warped (but they are still playable and doesn't cause any skating/gliding). The sound quality is honestly poor and gradually gets worse as the songs progress. There are nasty pops during "22," Starlight," "and "Begin Again" that won't go away even after thorough cleaning. The last songs on each side are the most muddy (if muddy isn't the right word, it basically sounds like my ears are clogged due to the seasonal flu). The pitch is definitely higher as stated in previous reviews. Despite these negatives, the album is *playable* as my standards for listening are quite low (and the ranking of my copy is quite low) as there were surprisingly no skips. I also noticed how some reviews stated that the hole in the discs were too small and that was not an issue for me. All in all, I am just happy to have this album in my collection as I’ll mostly listen to the “Re-Recording.”

not her best sounding record, but it sounds fine to me. side A sounded almost slightly pitched up, but my memory could just be off from listening to red TV lmao. the rest is nice and quiet

In my experience, Taylor has pretty bad pressings, this one in my opinion sounds even irritating to the ears, I don't know why but sounds with too much treble, the highs are way too scratchy. I do not like the mix of this album at all.
But again, I have at the moment five albums by her and all of them have something when it comes to the pressing.
I don't know how an artist as big as her can have such poor pressings.

I love this album but it was such a disappointment that the first side is slightly out of tempo, it goes a little faster and a little higher that it should I’m new to vinyls so I have no idea why it came like that, it only happened with the first side of the album though

I found this at a nearby Barnes & Noble (for retail price, $25! If you’re looking for a copy of this album, check B&N’s website and search by location if you want to go in person, or order online, don’t pay the scalpers!). The records themselves are 180g, and the overall sound quality is alright. Most of side 1 and a select few tracks across the rest of the album sound really muddy for some reason, specifically “State of Grace”, and some songs sound clear and great, such as “I Almost Do”. I’m not sure what made it such a mixed bag. Both records also have lots of crackles and pops throughout, which isn’t that big of a deal, but what else could you expect from a Big Machine pressing. At least it isn’t hellishly sibilant like that god-awful Fearless (Platinum Edition) pressing! Anyway, if you’re looking for sound quality, maybe go for the Red (Taylor’s Version) vinyl release, which Im sure will sound somewhat better than this pressing. However, if you’re looking for a copy of this album for your TS collection, I’d say it’s worth the trip to your local B&N.

Great sounding vinyl. Very minimal surface noise. Bass is punchy. Only complaint is that the center hole is a little tight.

i honestly don’t know what these comments are taking about - this is the best sounding record i own in my collection. it was like listening to the album again for the first time

okay this album hasn’t gone out of print or anything right? i see some of her older work like og fearless, speak now and self titled at my local stores occasionally but never red or 1989 and those are my favorites. so not out of print right?

When did this become so rare? I bought this for normal retail price the other day from a local record store and now it seems as if Red has become rare?
